Melissa and Doug fun!

Yesterday on The Foundary, I scored a few really great deals! I'm super excited about this one.





They finally had a great sale going for Melissa and Doug toys and I just had to get some for Audrey and Elliott. The sale is still going on by the way so if you've been wanting to snatch up some of these great toys, now is the time to do it. I should also point out that The Foundary has other awesome sales going on, not kid related.

My goal regarding their toys is to have alot of fun things that really stretch their imagination and make them play. I'm not one of those parents that is all against the plastic light up toys. But I just don't feel like they do a whole lot. Plus I love love love the look of some brightly colored wood toys. I just feel like the plastic toys, there's only one way to use them. And it doesn't push the child to really think outside the box. I'm hoping these will.
