Tim Burton at MoMA

We finally got to go see the Tim Burton exhibit at MoMA today! It was so cool! Unfortunately no photography.
It was so inspiring though. What I thought was really neat is that it showed his sense of humor as well. Silly little drawings like...."He decided to rest his eyes."....and it was a drawing with a guys eyes coming out of his head and lounging on the beach.

Then there was this odd one....Never Shoot A Constipated Poodle


I did buy the book which had alot of the drawings in there. I was kind of disappointed though. I had seen the book online and thought it would be this really nice big hardback and it wasn't hardback and wasn't very thick. There's just so much of his work you can highlight that got left out!

So if you're here in NYC or planning on coming...before it ends in April....you HAVE to come see this! But just remember, buy your tickets at least a week in advance...it's selling out like crazy.
