I miss our camera! It's being repaired and re-calibrated right now. Come home soon!!

I mean, I love my iphone....but the camera somehow doesn't quite compare to our Canon.

I did capture one of my current obsessions while out at Barnes and Noble. The iphone camera is definitely more convenient though.



I'm trying to get all of these cookbooks. I really like them! Well, I think I'll skip the cocktails one. I don't really drink at home other than the occasional glass of wine. I picked the pizza one up this time. And got extremely giddy when I placed it on the shelf with the others. They look so lovely all next to each other!



Once we get the camera back, I'll show that whole shelf. We wound up getting rid of ALL of our cases for our movies and putting them in these sleeves....it's all in this much much smaller shelving unit that looks AWESOME! And afterwards, we had these two large shelves left over. So we put one in the kitchen where I put my cookbooks, my larger appliances that I don't have room to put away in the cabinets, and my lovely spices. So, yeah...when we get the camera back I'll do a whole before/after post.

The second shelf went in our hallway with no real plan at first. So it kinda sat there empty for a few days. And then I just kinda moved all of my unsold paintings and stuff that had been sitting wrapped in bubble wrap for the longest. Now my etsy shop has its own physical store front! Yay! And I have to say....it was total good luck! I made 3 sales within 2 weeks after doing that. Huh...go figure. :)



Still plenty of room for more! I do still have some unfinished pieces...just haven't had a chance to....finish them.
