Last minute yet again
the tote is finished and on its way to the gallery! and in true starla fashion i was working on it right up to the absolute last minute! i was putting in the final stitches during my lunch break today.

they have all of the information about the show on open space's website , with a nice long list of all of the artists participating. if anyone is in the beacon, ny area between april 12 and may 3rd, please come take a look! buy a tote! it's for a good cause!
AND, i got my march etsy purchase today! this time i decided i would purchase something from someone who hasn't made a sale yet. i was thinking about my first sale and how amazing it felt. so i used etsy's pounce, which if you haven't tried yet...holy cow, that's a crazy addiction that you can really get just lost in. so i obviously chose to pounce through the undiscovereds and after pouncing for what seemed like forever (mainly because alot of the prices were over $200), i came across Gold Tusk. i was shocked she hadn't made a sale yet for two reasons. first, her work is great! and second, the prices are super inexpensive! i really want one of her rings too! but here's what i finally decided on....

good day...good day.

This tree is so so nice. I adore trees and this is really beautiful.
I have a quilt with 100 leaves basted on, that I've yet to finish, it lies rolled up on my workroom floor ... you've given me hope.
me too! i really love both trees and leaves! oh! you HAVE to finish the quilt! i wanna see it! it sounds beautiful!
Beautiful work on the bag! I'm so glad to see the finished product.
The March Etsy purchase is great too! Love the colors. Is it a bowl??
thank you karen! yeah it's a bowl. i haven't quite decided where i'll be putting it. i kinda want to show it off.
Everyone loves your tote, it was the first one to sell at the opening. Dan and I actually both sold it so we had to break the bad news to one unlucky tote lover.
Thanks for all your hard work!
